The internals of the WiiC originally belonged to the mini Ryzen APU PC, but AlexTriesTech has trimmed the system's motherboard to allow it to fit inside the Wii's tinier chassis. To make the build fit the Nintendo WiiC, they have eliminated accessories like Gamecube controller ports, or its original disc drive. The sell also features modifications that improve airflow, decrease the throttle on CPUs and ultimately boost fps.
The project is the result of months worth of fiddling around, but the finished product appears to be an entirely functional Nintendo Wii. It's even clad with RGB lighting, which helps replicate the blue glow of the original console's disc slot.
Sure, the idea of a Wii stealth rig sounds like an interesting idea, but the benchmarks demonstrate that it's more than an impromptu build. The micro machine can produce more than 100fps in Fornite and run Rainbow Six: Siege at 1080p 60fps. Shadow of the Tomb Raider can also be played on the small PC.
