NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/ The Israel Ministry of Tourism today announced new records for the number of tourists coming to Israel from the United States in July and august. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This represents a 4 percentage increase over 2019, and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than the number of visitors in 2019.

Not far behind in the United States, Canada is also on track to exceed its tourism numbers in Israel with 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022 and 6,600 in August.

Israel received more visitors from all over the world during 2019 than any other nation. 969 600 of them were American. Israel's official opening for travellers from May 2018. Israel has been home to over 600,400 US travelers since then.
