After selling an astounding 100 million copies (and counting), the world of Minecraft continues to grow with new features and functions. teamextrememc minecraft server Announced at E3 the new "Friendly Update" lets Minecraft players on Windows 10, iOS and Android (including the Gear VR edition) game online in the same Realms, no matter what the device.
This update follows on from the launch last year of cross-platform multiplayer via local networks. The Minecraft team also announced two significant improvements to the mobile-friendly Pocket Edition. These are texture packs that are available today and allow you to change the look of your game, as well as add-ons that let you modify the game world even more (create zombies that shoot fireballs, for example) and will be available in the autumn. These updates will also be available for Minecraft console versions later in the year. Remember to do your homework, kids.
