Neve Paritzki Israel Reliably Breaks Records in Tourism Entry Numbers United States
NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022/PRNewswire/ -- The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. https://www.makorrishon.co.il/mumlazim/523585/ נווה פריצקי Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists in July 2022. It was a 4 percent increase over the year before, while 71,000 American tourists visited Israel in August 2022.

"It is so exciting to once again see an increase in tourist numbers to Israel from the United States, already reaching and exceeding our record-breaking numbers of 2019." said Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States remains our largest market for Israel-bound tourism. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak that was in the news, we had record-breaking tourist entry numbers every month. We are thrilled to see this positive shift and are expecting a steady upward trend for months or even years.

In line with the United States, Canada is in the process of surpassing the number of tourists visiting Israel with 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6000 in August.
