NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States during August 2022. That's a 13% increase over 2019.
Eyal Carlin from North America was the Tourism Commissioner. "The United States is the most popular destination for Israel inbound tourism. Actually, prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we were celebrating record breaking figures of tourist entry each month. It's a fantastic positive trend that we're very happy about and expect an upward trend for years to follow."
נווה פריצקי Canada is home to 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6,000 tourists in August, is not much behind the United States.

In the year 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million global tourists including 969,600 from the United States, and since the country's official opening to everyone regardless of their the status of their vaccination in May of this year, the country has already received more than 600,400 US tourists.
