A great Minecraft map can take you wherever you'd like to go. Sometimes, it's to the world at Bikini Bottom, thanks to the Spongebob Squarepants DLC. Other times, it's to the world at Breath of Wild thanks to some mods. Today's map takes you on a voyage through history instead.
Now, we know that not everyone is into history - it's kind of boring and there aren't enough real dragons for many of us - however, that doesn't mean it can't benefit from being something to be celebrated occasionally. That's what the Peace Builders map aims to accomplish, a map designed to follow four Nobel Peace Prize Laureates in their journey to make the world a better place.
Even if you go through the trailer, there's much to discover. You may not be aware of small details, like the name of the prize named after Alfred Nobel, the man who invented dynamite. The map features Jody Williams, who fought against mining; Desmond Tutu who helped end apartheid South Africa; and Carl Von Ossietzky who helped uncover the grotesque crimes committed by Nazis.
It's not your typical Minecraft map but it's a worthy investment in your time should you want to learn more about the story of good people in the world, rather than just those who harmed it. It's also a good way to learn something while playing an online game, which is usually what Minecraft: Education Edition is all about.

After you have learned everything about the Peace Prize, why don't you take a look at some of the cool Minecraft homes while your brain is processing all of it? You could also learn to plant Minecraft mangrove trees as well, before helping to plant some of them in the Mangrove Restoration Project. We all can make our virtual worlds a better place also since we are all part of it.
