Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking Tourism Entry Counts from the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswirein July and August 2018, the Israel Ministry of Tourism reported record numbers of tourists arriving from the United States. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a 4% increase over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than the number of visitors in 2019.

"It is thrilling to see yet another rise in the number of tourists visiting Israel from the United States, already reaching and surpassing our record-breaking numbers in 2019" said Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States remains our largest market for Israel-bound tourism. Before the COVID-19 epidemic there was a record-breaking number of tourism numbers each month. We are thrilled to see this shift and anticipate an ongoing upward trend for months and even years.

Canada is on track to surpass Israel's arrivals in tourist numbers 7200 tourists are expected to visit Israel in July 2022, and 6,600 tourists in August.
