Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking tourism entry The numbers from the United States
NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for arrivals of tourists in Israel from the United States in July and august. The country welcomed 78,000 Americans in July 2022. This was a 4 percent increase from 2019, while 71,000 American tourists were in Israel during August 2022.

Canada is on track to surpass Israel's arrivals in tourist numbers, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in the month of July 2022 and 6,600 tourists in August.

"It is thrilling to see how Canada's tourism to Israel is growing," said Gal Hana Consul and Director of Canada of the Israel Ministry of Tourism. "We aren't far off our record 2019 and we are anticipating that the increase in travel to Israel will continue to increase because Canadians are more comfortable traveling across the globe."

In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million international tourists 969,600 of whom came from the United States, and since its official reopening to any traveler regardless of the status of their vaccination in May this year Israel has witnessed more than 600,400 US travelers.
