Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking entry into tourism Numbers from the United States
NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022/PRNewswire The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSvNv7Qfm7eu1nMArSzmfQQ/videos The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from 2019 and 71,000 total visitors from the United States in August 2022 that's an increase of 13% from 2019.

"It is thrilling to witness a new increase in tourism to Israel from the United States, already reaching the record-breaking levels of 2019" stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. Canada is not far from that of the United States of America, is poised to surpass its tourist arrivals to Israel. It had 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022 and 6,000 in tourists in August.

In the year 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world 969,600 of whom came from the United States, and since its official reopening for any traveler regardless of the status of their vaccination in May this year Israel has received more than 600,400 US tourists.
