Update: Mojang has announced that Minecraft 1.18 - Caves and Cliffs Part 2 is now available to download and play on Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and Windows 10 and 11 and Minecraft: Java Edition on Windows, macOS, and Linux.



The next major update for the game isn't anticipated until next year, at most a few months into 2022.

ORIGINAL It's been a long time, but the final Minecraft 1.18 release date has been set until the end of November 2021.



Mojang has, after suffering several delays and expansions in its development, is prepared for Caves and Cliffs Part 2

Items that are missing from Caves and Cliffs Part 2 include archaeology bundles and goat horns. These items have been moved back to the future date.



However, new kinds of biomes have been promised and players are soon able to explore Noise and Lush Caves.

Lush Caves are a mix of Azalea plants' flowers and Pink Blossoms' flowers They also add fruit and nature to the cave system.



It's not even mentioning the long-promised upgrade to mountains and underground areas, modernized terrain generation and higher peaks, as well as more elaborate cave systems.



When will CAVES and CLIFFS Part II OUT?



Mojang has confirmed that the Minecraft 1.18 release date is set for Tuesday November 30, 2021.



While no launch date has been determined, players can expect the Caves and Cliffs Part 2 update at approximately 6pm GMT or 10 AM PDT in the case of players located in the United States.



There is no information on the size of the patch or if there will any updates this year following the reduction of 1.18.



As mentioned above that the next Minecraft update will be missing some confirmed content, as the team behind the development making the announcement earlier in the month:



"You may have noticed that some items were missing from the list of new stuff, namely archaeology, goat horns, and bundles.

"They are not being cancelled; we just had to put them off for the moment. They won't be part of Wild Update, but they will be added to Minecraft as soon as we are capable of.



"Until then there are mountains to climb and caves you can explore. That's going to take some time, especially if you navigate like I do: no planning, maximum confidence.
