The Regeneration of Towcester Leisure Centre
The regeneration of Towcester Leisure Centre has seen some exciting NEW equipment installed. The new fitness equipment is available to all ages and is provided by South Northants Leisure Trust. The centre has two Octane LateralX elliptical trainers, which combine cardio with strength training. A multi functional smith machine is due to arrive in March. In addition to the new gym equipment, the centre will also be receiving a brand new pool table.

The new leisure centre has been redeveloped to provide a new range of services to the local community. The refurbished South Northants Leisure Trust's gym, spa and studios will help residents stay fit and healthy, while incorporating the latest technology and design. A new 'functional' rig will be a key feature. There will also be a newly built multi-purpose studio, which will host yoga and Pilates classes, as well as serving as a meeting room for staff.

The Trust has been running for 15 years and has recently completed a PS1.2 million refurbishment of Towcester Leisure Centre in South Northants. The scheme has included the reception, changing rooms, gym and pool hall. The existing gym has been extended to create a large, functional fitness area with a new rig. The existing gym has also been reconfigured to accommodate a new multi-purpose studio which will host yoga/Pilates classes and act as a meeting space for the trust's board of directors.
