Minecraft is among the top sandbox games on the planet, and Genshin Impact is possibly the most ambitious free-to-play RPGs going. Both don't have a huge amount in common outside of both having grass and a dark secret, but they've come together thanks to this video.
The video's title reads "Who needs Grenades when You Can Have... Pocket Creeper?". This led us to believe that it was an actual Minecraft mod and not an actual Genshin one. But, hey, we've all been tricked before. The video shows Alex yeeting out an adorable creeper that is dancing that is one of the cutest things we've ever seen, but before it explodes. It gets a cuddle afterwards, which is lovely.
H4xolotl posted this video to Reddit. It is more than just a modification to create Amber into Alex. It also contains a few other bits. The overall design of Genshin Impact has been preserved, but the Minecraft mobs have replaced all the creatures. The foxes and zombies look oddly at home in the lush greens of Teyvat However, even things like the boat have been changed.
It's quite a ride from start to finish, and it has us wondering if we'll ever get a more immersive Minecraft RPG. While Minecraft Dungeons is a lot of fun and Minecraft Legends looks intriguing, it's not like being able to sail after throwing out a cute creeper , or fighting off a horde of zombies with fancy martial art moves and a spear.
In other weird versions of Minecraft that don't exist, have you seen IKEA's take on the game? This is another bizarre venture into the uncanny. the one and only Enjoy!
