Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking tourism Entry Numbers - United States
NEW YORK - September 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -new record-breaking tourist arrivals to the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. That's 13% growth over 2019.

Eyal Carlin was the North American Tourism Commissioner for North America. Not far behind in the United States, Canada is also on track to exceed its tourism numbers in Israel by 7,200 tourists in the month of July 2022 and 6,000 in August.

Gal Hana is the Consul and Director for Canada within the Israel Ministry of Tourism. We're close to reaching our record numbers for 2019 and we expect that this increase in travel to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians are more comfortable at home in Israel.

Israel has welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from abroad in the year 2019 and this included 969.600 of them coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all tourists, no matter if they are immunized. Israel has already hosted more than 600,000.
