Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking Tourism Entry Counts from the United States
NEW YORK, Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists in July 2022. It was a 4 percent increase from 2019, while 71,000 American tourists visited Israel in August 2022.


Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner of the United States. He stated, "It's so exciting to witness a further rise in tourism to Israel from the United States, and already exceeding or even surpassing our record breaking numbers of 2019". "The United States is our top market for inbound tourism to Israel and prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 was announced, we had record-breaking numbers of tourism entries every month. We're so happy to see an improvement in the trend and anticipate a steady upswing for the months and years to come."
