Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking tourism entry From the United States
NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for tourist arrivals in Israel from the United States in July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022, an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States during August 2022. That's a 13% increase over the year before.

Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) stated that it was exciting to observe a rise in Israeli tourism from the United States. Before the COVID-19 outbreak we were celebrating record numbers of Israel's tourism entry every month.

Canada is set to surpass Israel's tourist arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in July 2022, and 6,600 in August.

Israel hosted more than 4.6million tourists in 2019, 969,600 of which were from the United States. Since May, when the country reopened to all travelers regardless of vaccination status, more than 600,000.400 US visitors have visited Israel.
