This is a collaborative project I'm working on with my friend Thorlar. We're building the dark and light worlds, as well as the entire interior from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past in Minecraft. We started building on the 25th of October 2013. All of our build-sessions have been livestreamed on Twitch.

Could I help you with the build? I'm very good! For a variety of reasons, thank you but not thanks. One reason is that it's easier to plan and coordinate the project if it's only two of us. We all have the same ideas and work well together.
Why do you use green wool as grass? Why not use a texture pack instead? Two reasons. The color matches the game better and it will not saturate dirt like normal grass does. We're also avoiding using a texture pack since we want it to look as good as it is possible for vanilla Minecraft players. We may however develop one in the future specifically designed for this build to be an enhancement.
Is this an adventure map? downloadable? Can we visit it? It's not an adventure map but it will (most likely) be available for download and if anyone wants to make it an adventure map they may decide to do so. Players on the server could not be able to visit the build area prior to the completion of the build due to not get hindering the process but once we're finished it will be possible to transfer to the area.

Why are there so many red blocks? Good question! If you bring up the map and turn on the grid 16x16 you'll see every 16th block in both directions highlighted in red. The blocks are corresponding to the red blocks in Minecraft. This helps in the synchronization process in Minecraft much easier (and much faster).
