Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) said it was thrilling to witness a rise in Israeli tourism coming from the United States. Already surpassing the record-breaking numbers of 2019, he said. "The United States is our number one market for travel to Israel prior to the COVID-19 epidemic was announced, we had record-breaking tourism entry numbers every month. We're thrilled to witness this positive change and we anticipate an upward trajectory for years and months to come."


Canada is also on track, just like the United States, to surpass the amount of tourists that visit Israel. In July 2022 Canada saw 7,200 tourists and August saw 6,000.
