Treat the other Members of the Community with Respect

Your use of Minecraft is governed by the Microsoft Services Agreement ("MSA"). The Code of Conduct section of Microsoft Services Agreement applies to all Microsoft products as well as the Xbox Community Standards. However the Minecraft franchise is growing and introduces new Minecraft games. As a result, the Minecraft franchise is able to offer new features, such as new ways to interact which can be explained to other users. To this end we've developed the following Community Standards for the Minecraft franchise. These standards are a guideline to how the Minecraft community should interact with each other and the game in order to maintain our community a safe, safe, and enjoyable environment for all.



We want to ensure that players enjoy the same inclusive and welcoming experience when playing any of our games under the Minecraft franchise. We want to ensure that players adhere to the Community Standards when they play any of our Minecraft franchise games.



Community Standards



These handy Community Standards cover gameplay with Mojang-provided online service. This includes features like Featured Servers for Bedrock Engine platforms and Realms. Minecraft servers list Additionally websites and titles, each might have additional rules specific to them - so be sure to look them up, too.



Respect the other members of the community. This is the basis of everything we believe. Please be polite and respectful when you voice your opinion.



If there's a chat option in a game or on a website, be mindful of other people's experience. This includes avoiding excessive posting or spamming. All-caps can also be read as yelling. Also, yelling at someone is usually not very nice.



Our friendly moderation team is available to help you if you are having a disagreement with another player or have an unpleasant encounter. Contact them or report the player using the tools provided within the game. No matter what the circumstance do not "name and shame" other members of the community publicly as this counts as harassment.



It is important to think twice before you publish any information. Don't publish personal information (phone numbers emails, passwords, email addresses, account information, physical addresses, first and last names, etc) about yourself or other people.



It is not allowed to promote illegal activities.



o Encourage positive and encouraging conversation, and not negative and insulting. It is important to note that posts and content should not be created with the intention of starting an argument or provoking negative responses.



Minecraft has a zero tolerance policy for hate speech, bullying and harassing other users.



Never divulge your account information. We will never ask for your password, and you should not share it with anyone.



Modifications in Minecraft is not permitted in the core Minecraft game.



All activities are subject Mojang/Minecraft’s EULA and Terms and Conditions.



How do you submit a case study



Any player that meets the following criteria can submit an appeal:



It is in active enforcement action. The enforcement is more than 24 hours long. - The enforcement was issued in the last 12 months.
