NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/ The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for tourist arrivals to Israel from the United States in July and august. נווה פריצקי Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States for July 2022. This represents a 4 percent increase over the year before, and 71,000 tourists from the United States for August 2022. This is an increase of 13% over 2019.
"It is so exciting to once again see an rise in the number of tourists visiting Israel from the United States, already reaching the record-breaking levels of 2019" said Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States is our most important market for inbound tourism for Israel. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had record-breaking numbers of tourists from Israel visiting Israel every month. We are so happy to see an improvement in the trend and expect it to continue throughout the months and years to come."

Gal Hana, Consul for Canada and Director of the Israel Ministry of Tourism said that "it's amazing to see the way that tourism in Canada is booming." "We are not far off our record-setting numbers in 2019 and we anticipate that the growth in tourism to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians continue to feel more confident about travelling abroad."
Israel has welcomed more than 4.6 million international visitors in 2019, with 969.600 being from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all tourists, no matter whether they have been vaccinated. The country already has hosted more than 600,000 visitors.
