The first pictures of Amazon's much rumoured 3D handset have been revealed and show off the four cameras used to create a 'floating screen' effect.

The device, which is scheduled to be revealed in June, using retina-tracking technology that will make images on the phone's screen appear to 'float' above it like a Hologram, and appear three-dimensional from all angles'.

The latest images also show a thin phone - though it is protected by cases to protect its true form.

Apple's patent-pending system is slightly different to the 3D display Amazon is rumoured to be working on. Last week, the first images of Amazon's 3D handset were released. They showcased four cameras and retina tracking technology which is used to create floating screens.

HOW IT WORKS

The device has a corner-facing camera at the front of the screen.

These cameras can be used to monitor the position and direction of the user's eyes and face in relation to the display.

This allows Amazon's software make constant adjustments to the position of the elements on screen, altering the perspective of visuals and allowing them to appear in 3D without the need to wear glasses.

Finally, we have gotten exclusive images of a model of the device that is not yet released offering the world a first glimpse at Amazon's hotly anticipated phone Web site BGR stated.

As can be seen in the photos the device is surrounded by a protective shell designed to prevent people without authorization from seeing the physical design of the phone.'

It is expected that it will come with a 4.7 inch screen.

The phone is displayed in a special case to protect its final design. However the four cameras are clearly visible in every corner

The phone looks similar to Nokia's Windows Phone, with its large and rounded shell. However, this is believed to be an attempt to cover the final design.
