Old School RuneScape's 150th Anniversary Quest as a Kingdom Divided Lives

A Kingdom Divided, Old School RuneScape's 150th quest, is now available for PC, Mac, Steam, iOS, and Android players, with full cross-platform game play. It is the eighth installment of Old School RuneScape's lore-packed Great Kourend quest series, this level-up quest for experienced players continues the Kourend Council storyline, which has been developing for more than four years.



A Kingdom Divided allows players to look into the shadows of the Kingdom of Great Kourend’s facade of peace and prosperity to expose corruption allegations at the Kourend Council. extrememining The players must face more than the Council's petty political games. There is a bigger conspiracy that has been going on for centuries. A darker power is emerging within the kingdom and it could alter the character of Gielinor forever.

"With some of the most rich stories in Old School RuneScape, players loved Great Kourend when the kingdom hosted our first competitive Leagues event, and now it's the ideal location for a quest that focuses on corruption and conspiracy within the ruling council. While A Kingdom Divided is a quest for experienced players, Old School already has over 700,000 players who have completed the first seven installments of the questline and are ready to tackle the case.



"And like all new content in Old School, A Kingdom Divided is a feature that is approved by players. We polled the quest with players, and it passed with a high approval rating and more than 30,000 votes, and with 92.7 percent of the players of players voting for its inclusion. We're eager to see how players take on the insanity of the Kourend Council to ensure that Great Kourend is a kingdom divided for good."



Completing A Kingdom Divided rewards players with the highly-anticipated unlocking of 26 new spells available in the Arceuus Spellbook, in addition to two quest points, a 10,000-experience lamps that can be increased to 60 charges in Kharedst's Memoirs, and enables the respawning of points at Kourend Castle.



As the content arrives in Old School RuneScape, the living game's login screen has been given an A Kingdom Divided-themed update and now features the winning player-designed art from an earlier Old School community contest, where the winner's design attracted more than 30,000 votes.



A Kingdom Divided is now available for Old School RuneScape on PC, Mac, Steam and iOS. It also allows cross-platform play across all platforms.
