Many gamers have long-held fantasies about digital-first storesfronts, digital first living, and cosmetic upgrades. Gift cards allow you to distribute in-game currency to most popular games, and download codes mean you don't even have to put on pants to choose gifts. White elephant gift exchanges can be boring when everyone is handing out boring envelopes. It's not gratifying to give someone an electronic gift even in this day and age.

The following crafts are inexpensive yet effective, and make use of materials you might already have at home. While each craft is easy, if you get frustrated, that's a part of the enjoyment. Materials: Scissors hot glue gun black marker, Styrofoam ball modeling clay, craft foam (pink brown, white and black)

If you're looking for a way to save time while making your Poro take out the mustache and the small feet and make the horns out of brown craft foam instead of modeling clay.

Materials: Tall food container paint (dark blue, light blue, turquoise, silver) paint sponge modeling clay or foam, scissors, hot glue

Notes: If you'd like to be fancy with this one print images of the sword or pickax at a copy shop on shiny, 11x17-inch paper.
