Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking tourist entry Indicators From the United States
NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022/PRNewswire-- The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today new record-breaking tourist arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists during July 2022. This was a 4 percent increase over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States were in Israel during August 2022.

Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner for North America. He stated, "It's so exciting to witness a further rise in tourism to Israel from America, already in the process of surpassing or exceeding the record-breaking numbers we saw in 2019". "The United States is our top market for inbound tourism to Israel and prior to the COVID-19 epidemic was announced, we had record-breaking tourism entry numbers every month. We're so happy to see an improvement in the trend and anticipate a steady increase in the coming many months and years to be."

Canada is set to surpass Israel's arrivals in tourist numbers 7200 tourists are expected to visit Israel in July 2022 and 6,600 tourists in August.
