Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking entry into tourism The numbers come from the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire• In July and August of 2018, the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record numbers of visitors from America. Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists during July 2022. It was a 4 percent increase from 2019, while 71,000 American tourists visited Israel in August 2022.

Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) declared that it was thrilling to witness a rise in Israeli tourism coming from the United States. Already surpassing our record-breaking numbers for 2019 he stated. "The United States is our most popular destination for tourism to Israel and prior to the COVID-19 pandemic that was sweeping the world, we were celebrating record-breaking tourism entry numbers month after month; We're so happy to see this positive change and expect a continued upswing for the many months and years to follow."
