Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking tourism entry Numbers from the United States
NEW YORK - September 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -Record-breaking tourist arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. 78,000 visitors from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a 4 percent increase over the year before, and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than the number of visitors in 2019.

Canada is poised to surpass Israel's tourist arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in the month of July 2022 and 6,600 tourists in August.

In the year 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world including 969,600 from the United States, and since its official reopening for any traveler regardless of vaccination status in May of this year Israel has witnessed over 600,400 US tourists.
