Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking tourism entry Numbers from USA
NEW YORK - September 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -new record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022 that's an increase of 13% from the year before.

Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner of the United States. He said, "It's so exciting to again see an rise in tourism to Israel from America, already exceeding or even surpassing our record breaking numbers of 2019". נווה פריצקי "The United States is our top market for inbound tourism for Israel. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw record-breaking number of tourists from Israel entering Israel every month. We are thrilled to have witnessed such a positive shift and expect this trend to last for a long time."

Canada with 7,200 tourists in July 2022, and 6,000 in August is not far behind the United States.

We are getting close to our record-setting numbers for the year 2019, and we are anticipating that this growth in travel to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians are more comfortable at home abroad.

In the year 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world 969,600 of whom came from the United States, and since its official reopening for any traveler regardless of the status of their vaccination in May Israel has received more than 600,400 US travelers.
