Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking tourism entry From the United States
NEW YORK - Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for the number of tourists coming in Israel from the United States in July and august. 78,000 visitors from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. נווה פריצקי This is a 4% increase over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6lwMSJfGow This is 13% more than the number of visitors in 2019.

Eyal Carlin from North America was the Tourism Commissioner. "The United States is the leading market for Israel inbound tourism. In fact, before the COVID-19 Pandemichit, we were celebrating record breaking numbers of tourists entering the country every month. It's a great positive trend that we're very happy about and anticipate an upward trajectory for years to come."

Canada is on track to beat Israel's tourism arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in July 2022, and 6,600 tourists in August.

Israel welcomed more tourists from all over the world in 2019 than any other country. 969 600 of them were American. Israel's official reopening to all tourists was in May of 2018. The country has already welcomed over 600,400 US travelers since then.
