NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States who visited Israel during the months of July and August. 78,000 visitors from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a four percentage increase over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than the number of visitors in 2019.

We are close to our record-setting numbers for the year 2019, and we are anticipating that this increase in travel to Israel will continue as Canadians are more comfortable at ease abroad.

In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all visitors, regardless whether they're immunized. The country has already hosted over 600,000.
