The Swedish gamer could have been a top contender in the Gaming category, but for the nine videos he shared in the early part of 2017 that contain Nazi imagery. Maker Studios, a subsidiary of Disney which is also his multi-channel network partner severed the ties with him. He was also removed from YouTube's Red platform as well as the Google Preferred program. His name is now tarnished and he continues to earn millions of dollars through YouTube ads all by himself.



Evan Fong



Canadian-born, he was also known as VanossGaming. He quit the University of Pennsylvania to pursue his online career full-time. While playing games such as Grand Theft Auto or Call of Duty, he talks and jokes with his friends. He began voicing a character in the adult cartoon series 'Paranormal Action Squad' for YouTube Red in 2016.



Sonja Reid



Also known as Omgitsfirefoxx, she first started live-streaming on the gaming platform twitch in 2013. She uploads highlights on YouTube where she quickly gathered an impressive following which had resulted in partnerships with brands like Audi, Syfy, and Intel.



SSSniperWolf



Lia Wolf, a YouTube influencer who was born in the United Kingdom, is a specialist in Call of Duty gameplay videos. She also dabbles with cosplay and anime. The channel has brought her more than 5 million followers and subscribers which resulted in partnerships with Ubisoft, Disney, EA, Ubisoft and Disney. She said, "I wanted to show that girls can be successful and play in video games too."

Daniel Middleton is a professional gamer and is popular online as DanTDM or The Diamond Minecraft. His expertise in the popular game for families Minecraft and his followers have earned him a Guinness World Record in 2016 for having the highest number of views on a dedicated Minecraft channel which was 7.9 billion at the time.

He boasted of more than 11 million subscribers . He has now joined forces with Amazon, Netflix, and Nintendo and sells merchandise to fans , including pillows and posters.



Mari Takahashi



AtomicMari was the only female member of the mega-popular YouTube channel, Smosh Games, until the beginning of 2017. She stars in Maricraft, a sub-series which has a an emphasis on Minecraft gameplay. The former professional ballerina started hosting her Smosh Pit Weekly way back in 2010.
