Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking entry into tourism From the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- In July and August of 2018 the Israel Ministry of Tourism recorded record numbers of visitors from the United States. Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States for July 2022. This is a four percent increase over the year before, and 71,000 tourists from the United States for August 2022. This represents an increase of 13% over 2019.

Eyal Carlin was the North American Tourism Commissioner. "It is exciting to see a new growth in tourism to Israel from the United States. Already reaching and exceeding our record-breaking number in 2019," he stated. "The United States is our top market for inbound tourism to Israel, and before the outbreak of COVID-19, we were celebrating record-breaking numbers of tourism entries each month. We're extremely pleased to witness this positive change and we anticipate an upswing for the months and years to come."
