Neve Paritzki Israel Reliably Breaks Records in Tourism Entry Numbers United States
NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States in July 2022, a 4% increase from the year before and 71,000 total visitors from the United States in August 2022 that's an increase of 13% from 2019.

Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) stated that it was exciting to observe an increase in tourism to Israel coming from the United States. נווה פריצקי Already surpassing the record-breaking numbers of 2019, he said. "The United States is our top market for inbound tourism to Israel prior to the outbreak of COVID-19, we were celebrating record-breaking tourism entry numbers every month. We're so happy to see such a positive shift and expect a continued upswing for the months and years to be."

Canada is home to 7,200 tourists in July 2022, and 6,000 in August, isn't far behind the United States.

Gal Hana, Consul for Canada and Director of the Israel Ministry of Tourism declared that "it's so exciting to witness the way that tourism in Canada is booming." We're close to reaching our record numbers for 2019 and we expect that this growth in travel to Israel will continue as Canadians feel more at ease abroad.
