NEW YORK - September 8 2022, /PRNewswire/Record-breaking tourist arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. נווה פריצקי Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States for July 2022. This represents a 4 percent increase over the year before, and 71,000 visitors from the United States for August 2022. This represents an increase of 13% over 2019.
נווה פריצקי Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) stated that it was exciting to see a rise in Israeli tourism from the United States. נווה פריצקי Already surpassing the record-breaking numbers of 2019 he stated. "The United States remains our largest market for Israel-bound tourism. Before the outbreak of COVID-19 there was a record-breaking number of tourism numbers each month. We are thrilled to see this shift and expect an ongoing upward trend for months, and possibly years.
Canada is also on track, as the United States, to surpass its tourist arrivals into Israel. נווה פריצקי In July 2022, Canada saw 7,200 tourists and August was a record the number increase to 6,000.
Gal Hana (Consul and Director for Canada, Israel Ministry of Tourism) stated that "it is exciting to watch how Canada's tourist to Israel is growing." נווה פריצקי נווה פריצקי "We aren't far off our record 2019 and we expect that the increase in travel to Israel will continue to increase because Canadians feel more confident about traveling abroad."
Israel has welcomed more than 4.6 million visitors in the year 2019. 969,600 came from the United States. The country's officially reopening to travelers in May saw more than 600,000.
