The Kerem Tunnel provides a unique adventure in hiking and riding which is loved by everyone.
The Kerem Tunnel, the first cycle tunnel in Israel was opened in the Jerusalem Ring Path, a 42-kilometer cycle path that runs around Jerusalem, the capital city.

The tunnel connects the path between Nahal Refaim and Emek Motza. The southern entrance is in Refaim Park under Ein Laban. The northern entrance, Nahal Ein Kerem, is just half a kilometer away from the Nahal Ein Kerem junction.

The opening ceremony of the tunnel which measures 2.1 kilometers long took place in Jerusalem and Heritage Minister Ze’ev Elkin Mayor Moshelion, Heritage Minister Ze'ev Elkin Avi Baleshnikov (Gihon water company chairman of the company) and hundreds more cyclists.

Elkin's Ministry Elkin's Ministry Tourism Ministry, Jerusalem Municipality as well as the Gihon Corporation all contributed to the project. The Jerusalem Development Authority completed the project.
