Veins are the best source of ancient debris. They are always covered by blocks (or lava on either side) so that you can't observe them from the surface. Instead, you'll have to dig - ancient debris can be discovered from y=22 up to y=8, though it is most common around 15 y.



How to create netherite in Minecraft



After you've discovered some old debris, it's time to make netherite scrap. After smelting an ancient debris block in a blast or furnace furnace, you'll end up with one netherite scrap. To create one netherite ingot you will need four netherite scraps.
