Minecraft is one of the top sandbox games on the planet, and Genshin Impact is possibly the most ambitious free-to-play RPG available. Genshin Impact and Minecraft don't have a huge amount in common outside of both having grass and a dark secret however, they've merged thanks to this video.
Now, the title of the video is "Who Needs Grenades If You Have... Pocket Creeper?" which made us think that it was a Minecraft mod and not a Genshin one however, we've all been tricked before. It shows off Alex shouting out a cute little creeper that dances that is truly one of the most adorable things we've seen. Then it explodes. It gets a cuddle following the event, which is a nice touch.
H4xolotl posted this video on Reddit. It is revealed that it's more than just a modification to transform Amber into Alex. It also includes a few other bits. While the general style of Genshin Impact is there, the creatures have been replaced with Minecraft mobs. The Teyvat greens are lush and the zombies look oddly at ease in them, but things like their boat have been changed.
It's a thrilling ride from beginning to end and we're thinking about when we'll get an even more immersive Minecraft RPG. While Minecraft Dungeons is an immense amount of fun and Minecraft Legends looks interesting, it's not as exciting as actually being able to sail after throwing out a cute creeper, or battling off a gang of zombies using fancy martial arts techniques and spears.
In other strange versions of Minecraft that aren't there Have you seen IKEA's version of the game? This is yet another bizarre foray into the unimaginable. Enjoy!
