TikTok said it had moved US user data to servers managed by Oracle from servers it controlled in Virginia and Singapore, and that it would eventually delete any backups of US user data from those servers. TikTok is in talks with CFIUS, which is an advisory group made up of several federal agencies that have jurisdiction over national security matters, about how it will handle data from the US.
