The creator, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has only the fifth channel on the platform to hit the huge following benchmark, which is followed by T-Series, Cocomelon, SET India, and the only other individual account on the list: PewDiePie. "100 million means so much. I've been making videos since I was 11," said Donaldson in a press release. "This number is a symbol of everything I've done throughout my life. I am so grateful to anyone who has ever seen videos. I'd like to keep doing YouTube until the day I die."
Donaldson has been posting YouTube videos since 2012, beginning with his first ever video to his main channel that featured his playing Minecraft. His YouTube videos began to take off when he began creating content that featured him giving large amounts of money to strangers. His videos have grown to address the most shocking challenges, like not eating for 30 consecutive days or creating a live-action Squid Game.
MrBeast will launch new merchandise to commemorate his career-defining feat. Only YouTube's Live Shopping feature lets you purchase MrBeast's merchandise. The rapper also plans to release one of his most expensive videos yet on August 4. This is due to the fact that he's a top subscriber YouTube creator and has the resources to support some of the most expensive content.
