Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking tourism entry Numbers from the United States
NEW YORK - Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today unveiled new records for the number of tourists coming in Israel from the United States in July and August. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from 2019, and 71,000 total travelers from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from 2019.

"The United States is our top market for inbound tourism to Israel prior to the COVID-19 pandemic that was sweeping the world, we were celebrating record-breaking tourist numbers month after month; We're extremely pleased to witness such a positive shift and we anticipate an upswing for the months and years to be."

Canada with 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6,000 in August isn't too far behind the United States.
