Women empowerment in the process of creating power in women to live a happy and respectful life in a society. Women are empowered when they are given opportunities in variety of fields, such as in education, profession, lifestyle etc. The women's right movement started in 1848 and supposedly ended in 1917, but even though it's been a century, there is still unfairness shown to women. In some countries, even India, some girls are not given education and are made to sit at home and do housework or agricultural work. About 32 % of girls in India are not given education. But all of this is slowly changing. We can see women empowerment being highlighted in movies or shows. People are fighting for this cause, by even starting riots. Malala Yousafzai is a great example for women empowerment, because of her about 44% of girls in Pakistan are given education. a small thing can make a big impact. And I would like to end my speech my asking a question. "What are you going to do to help this movement?"
