NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022/PRNewswire/ -- The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. נווה פריצקי נווה פריצקי Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists during July 2022. It was a four percent increase over 2019 seven thousand tourists from America visited Israel in August 2022.
"It is thrilling to witness a new rise in the number of tourists visiting Israel from the United States, already reaching and exceeding our record-breaking numbers of 2019," said Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States is the top market for Israel inbound tourism. In fact, before the COVID-19 Pandemichit, we were celebrating record-breaking numbers of tourism entry each month. This is a positive change that we are pleased to witness and expect an upward trend for many months to follow."
Canada is home to 7,200 tourists in July 2022, and 6,000 in August isn't too far from the United States.
