NEW YORK - September 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- New record breaking tourist arrivals to the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase of 4% over the year before and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. That's 13% growth over 2019.


"It is so thrilling to once again see an rise in the number of tourists visiting Israel from the United States, already reaching and exceeding our record-breaking numbers of 2019" stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States is the leading market for Israel inbound tourism. In fact, before the COVID-19 pandemic, we were celebrating record-breaking numbers of tourists entering the country every month. It's a great positive shift that we are pleased to witness and expect an upward trend for months to come."
