Hackers have attacked the Danish government's plan for re-creating the entire nation using the game that is so popular on computers Minecraft.

Officials confirmed that cities of large size including Copenhagen were harmed by smugglers who brought virtual explosives into the Danish area.

The Danish government is being pressured to rebuild areas of the city.

Danish officials acknowledged that "Several large Danish towns were razed to the ground, and a lot of new structures have been constructed all around the place."

What is MINECRAFT?

The first country to be fully integrated into the blocky Minecraft games The government hoped that it could help make lessons more enjoyable for students.

It even created a set of lesson plans for teachers that guide them through the virtual version of their country.

Initial reports of the damage claimed that entire cities had been destroyed.

However, the claims have been dismissed.

"Entire cities are not completely fake." It's only MINOR areas," said Chris Hammekenof the Danish GeoData Agency

"We consider that one of the benefits of playing Minecraft is that elements are destroyed and new ones are made.

"We will not resume the game of Denmark on Minecraft.

"But sometimes we will reconstruct minor areas if buildings have been removed and nothing is being built."

"We have built Denmark online in Minecraft so that young people could plant their own forest and create a riding school, lake, wind turbine, biogas plant and so forth," said Kirsten Brosbol (Danish Minister of the Environment) at the launch of the project.

"Pupils believe it's more enjoyable to work with their own home, street and so forth.
