NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today announced new records for arrivals of tourists to Israel from the United States in July and august. Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists in July 2022. נווה פריצקי This was a 4 percent increase over the year before, while 71,000 American tourists visited Israel in August 2022.
"It is so exciting to see yet another rise in the number of tourists visiting Israel from the United States, already reaching and exceeding our record-breaking numbers in 2019" said Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States is our top market for inbound tourism to Israel prior to the COVID-19 epidemic, we were celebrating record-breaking tourist numbers each month. We're so happy to see this positive change and we anticipate an upswing for the months and years to follow."
Not far behind the United States, Canada is also on track to surpass its tourist arrivals in Israel with 7,200 visitors in July 2022 , and 6000 in August.

We anticipate that this increase will continue as Canadians visit more countries.
Israel received more than 4.6 million international visitors in 2019, with 969.600 coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all visitors, regardless if they are vaccination-free. The country has already hosted more than 600,000.
