Sharpen your pickaxes and keep an eye on Creepers as the cult building/exploration sandbox Minecraft is getting closer to its PlayStation 4 launch, according to an announcement from 4J Studios, the developer. 4J Studios.
"We've handed Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition over to Sony for final test!" The message was published alongside the image. As we reported in the last month, Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition brings with it many exclusive features, including support for the DualShock 4 touchpad, save game transfers from both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and "a collection of exclusive DLC for Sony coming soon after the release."
After Minecraft is made available for the PlayStation 4, owners of the game on PS3 can upgrade to the latest version of the game for $5. DJW360.COM Developer 4J Studios has yet to announce a date (or even a vague timeframe) for the game's launch date, but if there aren't any issues during testing we'll have more details soon.
