How to create Minecraft fireworks



To build a rocket for firework, you need - at a minimum, one piece of paper and one gunpowder. To extend the time of flight, you can add two more gunpowders. This will determine how high the rocket can fly.



If you want those pretty explosion effects, you'll need to add an explosion star. You can personalize the firework's explosion by making an exploding firework. To make a firework-themed star, combine gunpowder and up to eight dyes to set the explosion colour. You can also add glowstone dust to create a twinkle effect and/or a diamond to create an effect of trailing after the explosion. These effects can be added to the star.



You can also alter the design of your firework. Adding a fire charge will produce a massive circular explosion; a gold nugget can create an explosion with a star shape; a head of any type will produce an explosion in the shape of a creeper face, and a feather can create an explosion with a burst shape. But only one of these shape altering substances can be utilized in your firework stars.



After you have created your star, you can add a "fade-to colour" effect by mixing any dye you want to use with it.



How to make a Minecraft firework display



Once you've got your fireworks, you could be wondering how to set them off to create the ultimate show. You can use a fireworks to illuminate an entire block. But if you're looking to be precise and let the fireworks go off from a safe distance, then you will need to place your fireworks in dispensers. Redstone can activate the fireworks. You can also shoot through water to create diagonal paths. They only shoot in the direction you have chosen to shoot them.
