● Duel adalah praktek dalam budaya sihir dimana dua atau lebih penyihir dalam satu pertempuran menggunakan mantra
dan wand.
● Di dalam duel, kedua penyihir saling berhadapan, membungkuk dan kemudian beradu mantra.
● Yang harus dilakukan agar dapat menang dalam duel ini adalah melukai si lawan.
● Untuk di Asrama Hogwarts, duel menggunakan turn-based strategy, yang artinya adalah melempar mantra secara bergantian dengan memperhatikan nyawa dan tenaga yang dimiliki kita maupun lawan.
● Di dalam duel terdapat 2 istilah, yaitu:
1. Health Point (HP) = Nyawa
2. Magic Point (MP) = Tenaga
● Setiap mantra biasanya akan mengurangi MP penyerang dan juga HP lawan. Tetapi ada juga mantra yang mengurangi MP sekaligus HP si penyerang, seperti Alarte Ascendare.
● Dalam duel terdapat
3 rules, yaitu:
1) Grade yang lebih kecil tidak dapat memakai mantra Grade yang lebih tinggi.
2) Pada turn ke 3,6,9, seterusnya +2MP
3) Untuk pemain ke 2 juga +2MP di awal.
