Computer system network
A computer network is a place of computers posting resources situated on or perhaps provided by network nodes. The personal computers use common conversation protocols over electronic interconnections to exchange their views. These interconnections consist of telecommunication network technology, based on bodily wired, optical, and even wireless radio-frequency strategies which may be arranged in a variety involving network topologies.


Typically the nodes of the computer network may include personal personal computers, servers, networking equipment, or other dedicated or general-purpose offers. They are identified simply by network addresses, plus may have hostnames. Hostnames act as memorable labels for the nodes, rarely changed following initial assignment. System addresses serve with regard to locating and determining the nodes simply by communication protocols such as the Web Protocol.

Computer sites may be classified by many criteria, including the transmission medium used to carry signals, bandwidth, marketing and sales communications protocols to manage network traffic, the network size, the topology, traffic control mechanism, and company intent.

Computer systems support many applications and services, such as access to the internet, digital movie, digital audio, contributed using application and storage servers, computer printers, and fax equipment, and use associated with email and quick messaging applications.
