RipClear Moto Goggle Lens Protection Product Review
If you could pick out one annoying thing about getting your gear ready, what can or not it's? For me it’s changing goggle lenses; although some goggle brands (like Oakley and Scott) are easier to change as opposed to runners, I still never enjoy installing a new lens. Well RipClear makes protective lenses for just about whatever needs clear vision, from Go Pro’s, goggles as well as mobile phone screen protectors, RipClear has something for everything. They reached in the market to Keefer Inc. Testing to find out if we'd be interested in trying some goggle lens protectors as well as Keefer has watched me fumble with lenses many times he sent them my way. In the pack of lens protectors there's two universal fit goggle protectors, two wet wipes, one micro fiber cloth and two dust removal sheets together with step by step instructions. To be 100% honest, my new installing a protector I messed all this up coupled with to junk one before finding out the full process and fitment. Seeing as they're universal fit, with respect to the goggle, you may have to trim the perimeters to suit between the tear off posts on your own lens (at the very least I did for the Scott Prospects). Once the protector was trimmed I made sure the lens was perfectly clean and carefully installed the “RipClear” following instructions closely.

One thing I noticed was that I had to be mindful ensuring the perimeters were all just how down and also to ensure the bubbles were out from underneath the protector before riding. If there are any bubbles or perhaps a lifted edge and also you step out to get a ride, it collects debris and makes all the high spots noticeable with your field of view, which may be annoying for a few riders. If everything is installed correctly you could ever so slightly understand the edge of the protector although not enough to get bothersome. The reason RipClear started selling goggle lens protectors happens because nobody likes changing lenses constantly (and it’s expensive). These can make your lenses go longer and tend to be claimed to make the lens stronger (although I never tested the theory). After some time using the RipClear protectors I have to appear at first sight definitely more scratch resistant (specially in the Costa Rican mud in which you may or may not have ran from tear offs, thus forcing said rider to always wipe the lens with muddy gloves) than your bare goggle lens and I haven’t needed to change lenses as frequently. After some use and abuse they start to peel up around the edges and that’s when it’s time to replace them. You can you need to off the old one, clean the lens and install a new RipClear. While the outside the lens stays considerably more scratch resistant, the interior continues to be standard lens.

best glasses lens protection noticed that after having the ability to use my lens longer durations of your time, the lining of the lens really begins to take much more of a beating (particularly in dusty conditions). If I needed to put a number about it I would say that a lens lasts 1.5 one.75 times more than not having a RipClear. So depending on how much a lens costs for the goggle (any where from $10-$40 nowadays) some RipClear Lens protectors ($20 for any pack of 2) will be worth it to get more life away from your lens (plus you won’t be cussing your goggles or maybe your wife and changing lenses as frequently). I would say my main gripe about the product is that it’s slightly difficult to receive the protector on perfectly and still have no bubbles involving the lens and protector. As of at this time RipClear only provides a universal protector that fits involving the tear off posts, but after talking while using company they plan to to discharge few goggle specific (for that widely used models) protectors soon, that can have holes for tear off posts and reach further for the edge of the lens. The company inform me that so long as there exists a interest in something needs a protector, they will be delighted to generate it. I think for further hardcore moto riders it isn't really the best product because let’s tell the truth, some moto riders are divas about field of vision and may even have more money than your average blue collar off-road rider. I for starters originate from an off-road background and I can really go to a requirement for making lenses last longer, particularly when conditions get nasty. Feel free to reach over to me if you have anymore questions regarding his product at Michael@keeferinctesting. Or have a look at RipClear at ripclear.com.
