How the return of Daniel Ricciardo to Red Bull will affect Checo Perez

Horner's comments showed that there is no question about the Mexican's continuity within the team. His words didn't give the assurance that Checo Perez would remain aboard the RB18 in 2023, though Daniel Ricciardo will focus his activities on planning and team campaigns.

In this sense, Ricciardo agreed to leave the McLaren team to return to be part of the ranks that led him as a Formula 1 driver. Regarding the main occupation that the 33-year-old driver will develop in his second stage as a member of Red Bull, Horner advanced that:
