Can you watch Violent Night on a Kindle Fire when you arent connected to internet? The Dolby Cinemas poster for the David Harbour-directed Christmas horror Violent Night was recently revealed. The new poster is in similar design to the original version that was revealed in September which saw Harbor Santa Claus smoking a candy cane. Violent Night full movie includes the iconic Dolby logo, adorned in festive Christmas lights. Harbor gleefully bites into the head of a delicious gingerbread cookie.
If the Violent Night trailer is any hint, this is a Christmas movie that you'll surely be able to catch in the theaters. Written by Tommy Wirkola, the light-hearted action film follows Harbor's tired Santa Claus, who's nearly all set to abandon humanity after thousands of years of increasingly greedy Christmas wishes. However, when a girl named Trudy Lightstone (Leah Brady) seeks out old Saint Nicholas for help after the family she is with gets attacked at Christmas, she's in a position to restore the Christmas joy back.
Violent Night was screened in NYC and both critics and fans alike have praised the film with early reactions calling it a new Christmas classic. Some are exaggerating the film due to its brutal action and Wirkola's skillfully choreographed fight scenes.
Alongside Harbor and Brady, Violent Night stars Christmas Vacation's Beverly D'Angelo, who plays Trudy's mother, who she's believed to be named after, Gertrude Lightstone. Alexis Louder and Alex Hassell play Trudy's parents, while the rest members of the Lightstone family consists of Cam Gigandet and Edi Patterson. Coming for the Lightstone fortune and definitely being on the naughty list, John Leguizamo leads the criminals who take Trudy's family hostage for the holidays.
